Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane confirms early talks on a contract extension for O'Cyrus Torrence, highlighting his durability, consistency, and key role on the offensive line.

For the last three seasons, O'Cyrus Torrence has been one of the Buffalo Bills' best and most reliable offensive linemen.

A second-round pick in 2023, Torrence became a starter at guard as a rookie and hasn't relinquished that spot. He's been so reliable that he hasn't missed a single game—regular season or playoffs—in his career.

Now, as Torrence gets set for his fourth season, the time has come to start talking contract extension. The 26-year-old is eligible for a new deal, and, as you would expect, the Bills are keen on keeping him around.

Speaking to the media this week at the NFL league meetings in Arizona, general manager and president of football operations Brandon Beane talked about a possible extension and when it could come.

"Love CyBo, and you're right, you're now eligible to do that," Beane said. "I think we'll get through the draft. We'll see if there's any more moves we do free agency-wise. We're definitely looking at that."

Beane praised Torrence's play and his being a three-year starter. Though a contract extension isn't likely, say, within the next month or two, Beane didn't rule it out from happening sooner rather than later.

"As you know, we've also done guys in the summer, even if we don't do something in the spring," he said. "We've had conversations—you're always having dialogue with most of your players that are eligible—where you're at, where they're at."

He added that some players would prefer to play it out before signing a new deal, while others are quick to sign if the deal offered is reasonable.

Though he wouldn't divulge into what the conversations included, Beane, once again, spoke highly of the former Florida Gator.

"Proud of Cybo; love him. He's a guy, of course, you would love to keep if you can make the economics work."

In 51 regular-season games, Torrence has committed just 12 penalties. In 2025, he allowed no QB hits and had just one penalty.
