The Buffalo Bills have called up two players from the practice sq

The Buffalo Bills have made a series of final roster moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The biggest moves come in the form signing wide receiver (WR) Mecole Hardman to the 53-man roster. Hardman joins the Bills after being released from the Green Bay Packers practice squad earlier this season. For his career, Hardman has 2,296 yards and 16 touchdowns over six seasons. He also scored the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl XLVIII

To make room for his addition, the team has released corner back Brandon Codrigton. Codrigton's release should come as no surprise as he's been six of Buffalo's 10 games this season.

In addition to Hardman's signing, rookie defensive tackle T.J. Sanders has officially been activated from injured reserve (IR). His return comes after being placed on IR due to a knee injury on October 11.

Practice Squad Elevations

Finally, Buffalo elevated two players from the practice squad for the pivotal matchup. Both WR Gabe Davis and tight end Keleki Latu have been brought up for Sunday's game. Whether they are game day active, however, will be announced when the inactives are announced roughly 90 minutes before kickoff.

Should he play against Tampa, it'll be Davis' first game with the Bills since Week 18 of the 2023 season, where he caught zero passes on two targets. A 2020 fourth-round pick of the Bills, Davis had 163 catches for 2,730 yards and 27 touchdowns in his first four seasons. Many will also remember his performance in the 2022 AFC Divisional game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Davis caught eight passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns in Buffalo's heartbreaking overtime loss.

He then spent 2024 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he only played in 10 games, caching 20 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns.

With the moves made, it means that Morgan Fox, who also signed with the Bills practice squad this week, won't make his debut with the team just yet.

Buffalo faces Tampa Bay, looking to avoid a two-game losing streak and stay a game behind New England in the AFC East, at 1pm on Sunday.
