With the results of the Sunday slate of games, the Buffalo Bills now know who they'll be facing in the AFC Divisional round next weekend.

The Buffalo Bills won their first road playoff game in over 30 years on Sunday afternoon. But with the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars now in the rear-view mirror, the focus moves to next weekend and the AFC Divisional Round.

Entering play on Sunday night, there were three possibilities for Bills opponents the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers or Houston Texans. To face Pittsburgh or Houston, the Bills needed the Los Angeles Chargers to upset the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

Unfortunately, for those holding out hope for one last game at Highmark Stadium that didn't happen.

The Patriots beat the Chargers 16-3 on Sunday night. That means the Bills are going to the Mile High City for an AFC Divisional showdown with the top-seeded Broncos.

As far as when the game is happening, that will be Saturday. That's due to the fact that the Steelers and Texans play on Monday night and putting them on Saturday would take away two days that would normally be off in the playoffs.

The official time will be announced after the conclusion of the Monday night game.

The Bills and Broncos have met just two times in the playoffs since both teams joined the NFL. Most recently, Buffalo beat Denver 31-7 in last year's AFC Wild Card Game. The other game came in 1992, a 10-7 Bills victory that sent them to their second straight Super Bowl.

Overall, the two teams have played 42 times dating back to the AFL days in the 1960s. The Bills hold the all-time head-to-head record at 24-17-1 and have won four of the last five dating back to 2017.

Buffalo now heads to Denver with both confidence and questions. Confidence in the fact that the road narrative has been put to rest, but questions surrounding the roster.

The Bills lost both safety Jordan Poyer (hamstring) and wide receiver Gabe Davis (knee) on Sunday. On top of that, they already lost Joshua Palmer for the rest of the playoffs. Now, Buffalo not only needs to figure out who will start next to Cole Bishop next weekend, but who will be catching passes from Josh Allen.

It could be expected that Mecole Hardman will be called up from the practice squad in some fashion to take a spot, but other more on that and other plans will come as the week progresses.
