Buffalo Bills Receive Promising Outlook For 2026 NFL Season cover image

Will the Buffalo Bills finally get over the hump during the 2026-27 NFL Season?

Now that the 2025 NFL season has officially come to a close on Sunday night, the Buffalo Bills will begin to shift their focus towards the upcoming season.

After a devastating loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional round, the Bills quickly made their first massive move this offseason by firing head coach Sean McDermott. And despite the organization’s due diligence on some of the top head coach candidates this offseason, general manager Brandon Beane ultimately decided to promote offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

With a new leader at the helm for the Bills in 2026, fans are hopeful that Brady and company can finally reach the Super Bowl.

Luckily for the frustrated fanbase, there is plenty of optimism surrounding the team heading into next season.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bills are currently tied for the third-best odds to win the 2026-27 Super Bowl at +1200.

Buffalo, along with the Baltimore Ravens, is one of the two teams trailing behind the reigning Super Bowl winners, the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams. Both the Bills and the Ravens are in similar positions heading into this offseason, as both franchises will have a new head coach for their respective star quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.

In addition to the odds being in favor of Buffalo heading into next season, the organization also tied for the best odds to win the AFC with the Ravens at +500. And when looking at who could potentially win the 2026-27 MVP Award, Allen currently holds a slight lead over Jackson at +600.

However, in order to live up to the high expectations set upon the Bills this offseason, it’s clear that Beane must make some significant moves, especially on offense. Buffalo desperately needs a true No. 1 wide receiver to pair with Allen, considering how much the franchise-altering quarterback struggled in the 2025 NFL Playoffs.
