Rookie Keon Coleman secures a starting role as Buffalo unveils its initial lineup, signaling a new era for the offense while defensive veterans prepare for preseason action.

The preseason officially begins this weekend for the Buffalo Bills, and the team has put out its first official depth chart ahead of Saturday's game.

At the top there's really no surprise from positions like quarterback, running back, outside linebacker, defensive line, and others. Where there is a surprise is that Keon Coleman is listed as the starting outside wide receiver opposite of DJ Moore.

The Bills have continued to say they believe in Coleman, and expect big things from him this year. It looks like the start of the preseason is the first big step towards that.

As far as how much he or the other starters will play, that remains to be seen. Defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard said he expects the defensive starters to play a little bit, but didn't know how much. Regarding the offseason, head coach Joe Brady hasn't given any information on that front as of writing.
