One of the strangest potential additions to the Buffalo Bills game-day experience might be coming from an unlikely place: late-night legend Conan O'Brien.
During a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, hosted by Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, the conversation turned toward the famously wild tailgate culture surrounding the Buffalo Bills.
That’s when things took a turn.
Jason Kelce jokingly suggested that O’Brien could become part of Bills Mafia in the most Buffalo way possible: by jumping through a flaming table.
The idea started as a bit, but it quickly escalated.
Jason Kelce joked that they would give O’Brien a shot of Toradol first, the painkiller often used in the NFL to help players deal with injuries before games. O’Brien played along immediately.
“So you’re saying that I qualify for an injection of a drug that professional football players use?” O’Brien said during the segment.
Jason Kelce doubled down on the idea.
“We would be honored to host you to Bills Mafia in Buffalo,” he said, adding that they’d inject him with Toradol and send him through a flaming table.
Instead of backing away from the joke, O’Brien leaned into it.
“I think that would be so much fun,” O’Brien said, adding that the stunt should be filmed and would likely go viral.
“This is going to happen,” he continued. “It’s going to happen. We’re going to shoot it...and then you guys can come visit me in the hospital.”
The moment immediately sparked online attention, especially among Bills fans, who are already known across the NFL for their over-the-top tailgating traditions. Members of Bills Mafia have become famous in recent years for jumping through folding tables during pregame celebrations, sometimes even lighting them on fire. There have even been moments where teams hosting the Bills have restricted the purchase of folding tables while Buffalo is in town.
The Kelce brothers also pointed out that the timing might actually work out.
The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to play in Buffalo next season, which could set the stage for O’Brien to follow through on the viral promise if the idea turns into reality.
Even if the stunt never actually happens, the exchange quickly became one of the most memorable moments from the episode.
And if there’s one fan base that would welcome Conan O’Brien crashing through a table, it’s Bills Mafia.
