The Buffalo Bills take on the Cleveland Browns this week and superstar QB Josh Allen can make NFL history in the game.
The 2024 NFL MVP will be playing in his 126th career game against the Browns. Allen needs one more total touchdown to reach 300 for his career and become the fastest player in NFL history to reach that mark.
A future Hall of Famer, Allen (29) is poised to be the first player to hit 300 career TDs before turning 30. Only two QBs have done it before turning 32. They are NFL legends Peyton Manning and Dan Marino.
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers was previously the fastest player in NFL history to record 300 career TDs. He did it in 134 games. Allen would be just the 19th player all time to hit 300-plus career offensive TDs.
Allen has 3,276 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 535 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns on the season. He is completing 70.0% of his passes.
The Bills have three games left in the regular season. They face the Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets.
Allen and Co. should easily beat the Browns and Jets. The Eagles game will be tough, but Buffalo has arguably the best QB in the NFL on its side.
"We're going to continue to fight one play at a time," Allen said after the Bills beat the New England Patriots. "No matter what the score is, if it's in the third quarter, if it's in the fourth quarter, whatever it is, if we've got a chance and we've got the ball, we feel like we like our chances. That's that."
The Bills have three comeback wins this season and they were spearheaded by Allen, who is making a late push in the MVP race.
Buffalo is 10-4 on the season. The team will likely destroy Cleveland to improve to 11-4.
