What else could be the answer?

Superstar QB Josh Allen was named the Buffalo Bills' "biggest strength" for the 2026 season by NFL analyst Mike Clay of ESPN.

Allen is one of the best players in the NFL.

"Allen has finished no lower than seventh in QBR in each of the past six seasons (third or better in four of them)," Clay wrote. "He hasn't been asked to throw the ball as much in recent years, but he has still finished in the top 10 in passing TDs six seasons in a row. Allen remains a major factor with his legs, leading all QBs in carries, rushing yards and rushing TDs last season. Only Derrick Henry (44) has more rushing TDs than Allen (41) over the past three seasons."

The 2024 MVP, Allen finished with 3,668 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 579 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns last season. The Pro Bowler enters next season with 30,102 passing yards, 220 passing touchdowns, 4,721 rushing yards and 79 career rushing touchdowns.

Buffalo went 12-5 last season and lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the 2026 playoffs. Sean McDermott was fired as head coach and Joe Brady was promoted to head coach.

"Still respecting the past and what's been here the last 10 years and not shying away from that, but also having his own twist on it," Allen said after Brady was named HC. "It's been really good to see him embrace the role and step into it. The way that he talks to the guys, you can tell he's very well respected with everybody in that locker room, and it's only going to continue to grow in my opinion."

The Bills had a great offseason. The front office acquired D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears and signed Bradley Chubb and C.J. Gardner-Johnson in free agency.

Buffalo has yet to reach the Super Bowl in the Allen era. That has to change soon. Otherwise, Allen will never be considered an all-time great.

It will be fascinating to see if Allen and the Bills can reach the promised land next season. Time is running out on Allen to win a championship. After all, he's not getting any younger.
