As expected, D.J. Moore is looking forward to playing with Buffallo Bills star QB Josh Allen.
D.J. Moore caught passes from Chicago Bears rising star Caleb Williams last season.
Now, he's going to catch passes from Josh Allen, the 2024 NFL MVP.
In his first comments since getting traded to the Buffalo Bills, Moore spoke about playing with Allen.
Moore finished his Chicago career with 244 catches for 3,012 yards and 20 TD catches. He had 50 catches last season for 682 yards and six touchdowns.
Moore has played for the Carolina Panthers and Bears. He enters next season with 608 receptions for 8,213 yards and 41 TD.
Allen finished with 3,668 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 579 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns last season. The one-time MVP had right foot surgery after the season ended. The surgery was done on a broken bone in his foot.
The Bills lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the 2026 NFL playoffs. Sean McDermott was fired as head coach and replaced by OC Joe Brady.
Allen is one of the top players in the NFL, but he has yet to guide the Bills to the Super Bowl.
"As much success as we've had over the last eight to nine seasons, we still haven't been able to get the main job done," Allen said after Brady was hired as HC. "So again, what does that look like? Who's involved in those decisions of what it looks like? But I truly believe in the direction of this organization, starting from the top. And I think that, again, whatever Joe needs from me I'm going to do. And I think that it's the right decision for this organization."
A future Hall of Famer, Allen enters next season with 30,102 passing yards, 220 passing touchdowns, 4,721 rushing yards and 79 career rushing touchdowns.
It will be fascinating to see how Allen and Moore mesh together on the field. Both players are smart and talented.
