This NFL trade proposal sends a Minnesota Vikings player to Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills.

An NFL trade proposal getting Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen more help on offense has been created.

Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report proposed that the Bills trade for Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison this offseason.

Bills Receive: WR Jordan Addison

Vikings Receive: 2026 second-round pick (No. 60), 2027 conditional pick (fifth-rounder with escalators for performance)

Addison had 42 receptions for 610 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings in 2025. The 24-year-old's numbers would be better in Buffalo since Allen is a much better QB than J.J. McCarthy.

"There's no doubt about it: The Bills need a dynamic receiver," Ballentine wrote. "The front office tried to deny that it was a need last offseason. Keon Coleman has been a disappointment, but even at his best, he isn't the kind of man-coverage beater that Josh Allen needs. Jordan Addison has dealt with multiple off‑field incidents during his time with the Vikings, and the team will have to decide on his fifth‑year option this offseason.

"If they aren't comfortable extending him for the long term, he could become a valuable trade asset. The Bills could fit his $4.4 million cap hit relatively easy and they'd have time to figure out how to afford his extension. The Bills don't have a ton of cap space. They also have other pressing needs if they want to finally get over the playoff hump. This could be a relatively cost-efficient way to fill a huge need for the long haul."

Addison was the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 draft. He has 175 catches for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns in the NFL.

Addison isn't a star, but he would be a great fit alongside Allen, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox. After all, you can never have enough talented wideouts on your team these days.

Buffalo lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the 2026 NFL playoffs. Allen is one of the best QBs in the league, but he still hasn't been to the Super Bowl.

The Bills promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach after parting ways with Sean McDermott. It will be fascinating to see if Brady and Allen can reach the promised land together.
