At least one NFL writer believes that wide receiver Keon Coleman has played is last snaps for the Buffalo Bills, and that a trade could happen at the 2026 NFL Draft.

Keon Coleman's days as a member of the Buffalo Bills could be coming to an end.

The 2024 second-round pick has had a tumultuous first two years in the NFL that came to a head last season when he was a healthy scratch. The team claimed it was due to off-field maturity issues, but wouldn't elaborate further.

Now, throughout the offseason, both general manager Brandon Beane and new head coach Joe Brady have continued to say that they believe in Coleman and that he'll be a part of the team's plans. But not everyone truly believes that, and one prediction sees the 22-year-old leaving Buffalo.

In his latest for Bleacher Report, NFL writer Alex Kay went through his landing spot predictions for players that could be traded during the NFL draft. Coleman was one of the players listed, and Kay believes he could end up on the West Coast with the San Francisco 49ers.

Kay says that, despite the signings of Mike Evans and Christian Kirk, they could use extra help heading into the year.

"Despite the marquee pickups, San Francisco would be wise to add an insurance and developmental option to the mix," he said. "All three of the team's top wideouts—Evans, Kirk and 2024 first-rounder Ricky Pearsall—are prone to injury and missed significant time last season.

"While Coleman has been sidelined for stretches with injuries of his own, he's an ideal buy-low player who head coach Kyle Shanahan can rehabilitate within his high-octane offense."

Kay believes that Coleman could be had for a fourth round pick. That value lines up with the rumblings surrounding the receiver.

Of course, the idea of trading Coleman isn't too far-fetched right now. ESPN's Adam Schefter recently reported that Coleman is one player he expects to gain interest from teams during draft weekend. He was even dealt as part of our 2026 mock draft on the latest episode of the Bills Roundtable Podcast. He was dealt to the Tennesse Titans in the mock alongwith the 26th overall pick and a 2027 sixth for picks number 35 and 66 this year.
