The Buffalo Bills value TE Dawson Knox.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Buffalo Bills and Pro Bowl TE Dawson Knox have agreed on a new three-year contract.

Knox had been due $12 million next season, including a $1.5 million roster bonus on Sunday. The sides had been working through options and struck a deal to bring him back for Year 8.

Knox appeared in all 17 games for the Bills last season. He finished with 36 catches for 417 yards and four touchdowns.

The Bills selected Knox with the 96th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Knox enters next season with 229 receptions for 2,694 yards and 27 touchdowns with Buffalo.

Buffalo lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the 2026 NFL playoffs. Josh Allen is one of the best QBs in the league, but he still hasn't been to the Super Bowl.

The Bills promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach after parting ways with Sean McDermott. It will be fascinating to see if Brady and Allen can reach the promised land together.

McDermott went 98-50 in the regular season and 8-8 in the playoffs with Buffalo. He was hired by the franchise in 2017.

The Bills finished below .500 only once under McDermott. The 51-year-old will not coach during the 2026 season.

Allen finished with 3,668 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 579 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns in 2025. The one-time MVP had right foot surgery after the season ended. The surgery was done on a broken bone in his foot.

Allen is looking forward to working with Brady next season.

"As much success as we've had over the last eight to nine seasons, we still haven't been able to get the main job done," Allen said. "So again, what does that look like? Who's involved in those decisions of what it looks like? But I truly believe in the direction of this organization, starting from the top. And I think that, again, whatever Joe needs from me I'm going to do. And I think that it's the right decision for this organization."
