Amid all the trade buzz with Marvin Harrison Jr., should the Buffalo Bills look to make a move?
The Buffalo Bills enter Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season feeling very good about themselves.
After all, Buffalo is 2-0 on the year, with wins over the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. The offense has been humming along, while the defense has done just enough to help this group start the year strong.
All offseason, the Bills preached that this could be the way, with many around the NFL believing that they could get over the hump. And so far, this team looks the part of a Super Bowl contender.
But like any team, Buffalo could use a little more depth to help bolster the roster. On offense, the Bills could use another wide receiver, if anything, to help them in case an injury were to strike.
One name that could be of interest for the Bills is former No. 4 overall draft pick Marvin Harrison Jr. of the Arizona Cardinals. Harrison hasn't lived up to the hype that he entered the NFL with, and there is now some trade buzz around him.
ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano said that opposing teams are keeping an eye on Harrison's status with the Cardinals. And if Harrison were to become available, the Bills may want to jump into the sweepstakes to land his services.
While Harrison hasn't been able to replicate the success that he saw in college with the Cardinals, maybe a change of scenery could help everything. Going from the quarterback situation that Arizona has to catching passes from Josh Allen could help unlock something for the former Ohio State star.
Harrison's rookie year was decent two years ago, with the wideout catching 62 passes for 885 yards and eight touchdowns. His sophomore season saw numbers drop a little, with Harrison pulling in 41 catches for 608 yards and four touchdowns.
But through the first two games of the current season, Harrison has only one catch for 33 yards. The wide receiver has seemingly fallen out of the hierarchy for the Cardinals, and this could see the team look to trade him.
Putting him alongside DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, and Keon Coleman, among others, could give Buffalo some strong depth to work with. Allen would have plenty of talented players to throw the ball to, and there wouldn't be as much pressure on Harrison to succeed.
All in all, this could be a solid flier move from the Bills to consider making. But for now, Arizona will try to see if Harrison can turn things around the rest of the way.
