The Buffalo Bills are deep in their search for the next head coach, and here's a full list of everyone they've interviewed for the position so far.

When Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula and General Manager/President of Football Operations spoke last Wednesday, they said that the search for the team's next head coach would be an open process.

Less than a week into that process, and "open" would be an understatement. The Bills have already held a number of interviews with a variety of candidates. From former head coaches to those who've never been on an NFL coaching staff, Buffalo is leaving no stone unturned to find the next person to lead the team into the future.

Below you'll find all of confirmed completed interviews, courtesy of the Bills themselves. As more interviews are completed, they will be added to this list.

Buffalo Bills Head Coach Interviews

January 26:

Nate Scheelhaase, Los Angeles Rams pass game coordinator

A member of the Rams staff since 2024, the 35-year-old Scheelhaase has helped the Rams become 3rd in pass yards per game, 5th in points, and 6th in EPA per pass play.

Before joining the NFL, Scheelhaase was a coach at Iowa State from 2018-2023.

Davis Webb, Denver Broncos offensive pass game coordinator and QB coach

A day after being eliminated from the playoffs, Davis Webb interviewed for the head coaching job with the Bills. The 31-year-old Webb is a former member of the Bills roster, but has spent the last two years with the Broncos.

January 25:

Grant Udinski, Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator

The most recent, and youngest, interviewee on the list, Grant Udinski just wrapped up his first season as the Jaguars offensive coordinator. The 30-year-old Udinski has been in the NFL since 2020 when he worked as an assistant with the Carolina Panthers. After being in Carolina, Udinski spent three seasons as an offensive assistant with the Minnesota Vikings.

In 2025, Udinski helped the Jaguars become sixth in the NFL in scoring at 27.7 points per game and 11th in yards at 338.6 yards per game.

January 24:

Anthony Lynn, Washington Commanders run game coordinator

A former Bills interim head coach---one game in 201`6---Anthony Lynn spent four years as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. With the Chargers, Lynn went 33-31, including a 12-4 season in 2018. That season, Lynn guided the Chargers to a wild card win over the Baltimore Ravens.

He's been with the Commanders since 2024.

Anthony Weaver, Miami Dolphins defense coordinator

Anthony Weaver has spent the last two seasons as the Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator. Prior to joining the Dolphins, Weaver worked as an assistant head coach and defensive line coach with Baltimore. He was also the Bills defensive line coach in 2013.

With the Dolphins in 2024, Weaver's defense was 4th in yards and 10th in points allowed.

January 23:

Phillip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts quarterback

Freshly retired for a second time, Phillip Rivers' only coaching experience is as a high school head coach. During his high school coaching career, Rivers has gone 43-15 with two state semifinal appearances.

January 22:

Lou Anarumo, Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator

Having spent 36 years in coaching, Lou Anarumo is one of the most experienced of any candidate the Bills have interviewed so far. As Colts defensive coordinator in 2025, Anarumo guided the Colts to the seventh-best run defense in the league.

Prior to joining the Colts, he was the defensive coordinator with the Cincinnati Bengals. With Cincinnati, his defenses finished in the top 10 in takeaways twice. That said, his defenses also finished 25th or worse in yards allowed four times.

Brian Daboll, former New York Giants head coach

Brian Daboll spent 2018-21 with the Bills as offensive coordinator. During his time, Buffalo averaged 352.3 yards per game and 24.1 points per game. He was the head coach in New York from 2022-2025, leading the Giants to one playoff appearance and one win.

January 21

Joe Brady, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator

The first interview was with the team's current offensive coordinator. Joe Brady has been Buffalo's offensive coordinator for the last two and a half years, helping guide Josh Allen to his first MVP win.

Under Brady, the Bills averaged 30.6 points per game in 2024 and 28.3 point per game in 2025.
