The Buffalo Bills open their new stadium this summer, and that means demolition work is underway at the old Ralph Wilson Stadium.

It's truly time to start saying goodbye. With the new stadium nearing completion, the Buffalo Bills have started the demolition process at the old Highmark Stadium.

Better known as "The Ralph" to many Bills fans, the old building was the team's home for 52 seasons. And, soon enough, it'll be just another memory.

While the stadium currently stands with full demolition still a bit away, dismantling the inside is well underway. Seats are being removed, signs taken down, and, soon, the field will be cut up.

If that makes you feel some sort of way, you're not alone. Even project manager Brandon Steiner understands the emotion that comes with this.

"You wanna cry, I understand," Steiner told WGRZ TV in Buffalo. "I’m in the business so I wanna make sure this happens, but as a sports fan, I know what the stadium means to Bills fans and what the stadium means to the city, and it’s gonna be missed.

"I feel a little guilty about it being the person doing it, but I’m hoping that there are a lot of Bills fans that will be happy with the stuff that they got to remind them of all the good times."

Despite the stadium being torn down, there are ways for you to keep that memory of The Ralph alive by owning pieces of the historic stadium.

The Bills are partnering with CollectibleXchange to sell pieces of the stadium. While nothing is, technically, available just yet, pre-orders are open for several pieces.

If you are looking to buy a seat, that will set you back $549. Signs range from $99-$399, depending on what you want, including obscure signs like "guest services", "gameday fan hotline", and "no alcohol".

There are also turf sections available. Those start at $99 for things like pens with turf in them or doormats, while larger pieces of the field cost $200-$400.

The new Highmark Stadium is scheduled to open this summer, in time for the 2026 NFL season. On Tuesday, the team announced that the first major event will be its Return of the Red & Blue scrimmage on August 8. In June and July, they will host smaller events to show the stadium to fans.
