Dawkins' "joke" sparks loyalty debate. Let's dissect his future, plus top defensive tackle draft prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft for the Buffalo Bills' new defensive scheme.

Dion Dawkins is a funny man. The star left tackle for the Buffalo Bills recently made headlines after appearing on a stream where he was asked if he'd leave the Bills for the Miami Dolphins if he was offered double the money he makes now.

At first, Dawkins said he would go, saying, "The Bills fans, they be trying to cook me. So, I would be out of there. I would go."

He then said, "You want to be loyal to loyal, tell them to watch they mouth."

That was quickly followed up with a "just playing", and that he wouldn't go because the team is "too much like a family". But then, on April 1, he doubled down a bit with a post on Twitter claiming he was traded to the Dolphins. Obviously, it was clearly an April Fool's joke, but it didn't stop fans from talking.

In the latest episode of the Bills Roundtable Podcast, hosts Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin talk about Dawkins' comments and if there could be something behind them.

On top of that, are we getting to a point where Dawkins' future with the Bills is starting to be up in the air? He's 32 and will be entering the final year of his contract in 2027. Is it time for the Bills to start planning for his departure after this year or next?

Plus, our 2026 NFL Draft coverage continues. After looking at the wide receivers last week, Mike and Anthony dive into their favorite defensive tackle prospects in this year's class.

From players who could be had at pick 26 to potential steals in the middle rounds, there's no shortage of defensive tackles that could fit Buffalo's new 3-4 base scheme under defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard. But who are worth targeting, and who might be too big a risk?

It's Episode 25 of the Bills Roundtable Podcast.
