The Buffalo Bills returned to the practice field this week for another set of organized team activities (OTAs). On the latest episode of the Bills Roundtable Podcast, Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin dive into some of the biggest early storylines coming out of OTAs for the Buffalo Bills, including why rookie linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr is already turning heads inside the organization.
We also break down Jim Leonhard’s glowing comments about Elarms-Orr after the rookie began getting opportunities with the first-team defense during offseason practices. From his athleticism and sideline-to-sideline speed to his ability to communicate and lead the defense early in camp, it's clear why Buffalo may already view Elarms-Orr as a player capable of contributing much sooner than expected.
In addition to Elarms-Orr, another rookie defender making noise during OTAs is cornerback Davison Igbinosun. But it's not just about the rookies. The entire defense is looking to benefit from Leonhard's scheme change, and one of the veterans who could benefit most is defensive tackle Ed Oliver. With Leonard emphasizing a more aggressive, attacking style defensively, the Bills' defense will look very different heading into the 2026 season. For Oliver, especially, there is a plan to let him play more "free" along the line this year.
