WR Snap Share after Pat Bryant Injury
Looks like Troy Franklin could be the beneficiary of Pat Bryant's injury. Here were the snap counts from Sunday's loss to the 49ers: - Courtland Sutton: 48 - Jaylen Waddle: 45 - Troy Franklin: 32 - Pat Bryant: 24 - Marvin Mims Jr.: 18 Interesting Sutton still is the snap leader. On the Broncos Roundtable Podcast, Eric referred to him mistakenly as Mutton... I said he should be Nuttun because he has done NOTHING on offense. Whether that's on him or Bo Nix or Davis Webb, that's a seperate conversation. My gut tells me Marvin Mims will still get snaps. He's faster than Bryant and the Broncos need to get the ball downfield. I think 18 snaps will be his floor for Sunday's game against the Chargers. What do you think?

Two Picks for the 49ers Game
I think the Broncos have a great shot to beat the 49ers. San Fran's defense is banged up and Mike Evans might not play. That leaves the old (but reliable) Deebo Samuel as the number 1 WR with Kittle and CMC major targets. It's like the 49ers turned back the clock 4 years ago! Anyway-- with Dre Greelaw likely out here are my two plays I like this week. We got Bo Nix Anytime Touchdown right on the pod last week. Let's see if I can go 2 for 2. RJ Harvey - Over 22.5 rec yards Pat Bryant - Over 22.5 rec yards I like Harvey more, but give me some Pat Bryant who's been balling out to start the year. Both props as of Wednesday night were the same amount of yardage, and unless Denver can get the running game going, Bo will have to pass to keep up with the Niners' efficient offense. I expect these numbers to get closer to 30 by the end of the week so take them now!

Can you believe…
… how poorly Denver played against the Chiefs. We are going to dive into the good the bad and the ugly tomorrow on the pod. (Yes there was some good… and of course I write this as Bo Nix drops another ball out of his hand.) What was the most surprising moment from Monday’s game? Is there anything you want us to talk about on the weekly pod? Let me know in the comments below.

Broncos Plays for Monday Night
I don't know about you but I'm PUMPED for the season opener. I think Denver has a great chance to go into KC and come out with a victory and a big statement. Chargers losing is also key for Denver. I'm glad I changed my survivor pick to the Steelers! Looking at tonight's game, my favorite plays are: Broncos +2.5 Nik Bonitto Over .25 Sacks RISKY: Most Receiving Yards in Game: Pat Bryant +1900 For DFS Showdown: I like Sutton as captain. You can get him on Draftkings at 12k in the Captain. I like pairing him with Bo Nix and Kenneth Walker in the Flex. From there you still have plenty of salary to pair with another playmaker on either side of the ball. I think the public will heavily play Mahomes so I'm fading him. One note: Don't forget about Defenses or Kickers in this game! Good luck all. Broncos Country - LET'S RIDE!

Favorite Season-Long Player Prop
We didn't get a chance to talk about season long player props on the Broncos Roundtable Podcast, but here's my favorite: Jaylen Waddle over 5.5 TDs at -115 Here's why-- Past five years in Miami: 2021 (no listed line)- 6 TDs 2022 (5.5 line)- 8 TDs 2023 (6.5 line) 4 tds (14 games played) 2024 (5.5 line) 2 tds 15 games played (Tua only played 11 games and Waddle secured only 58 receptions on 83 targets for 744 yards.) 2025 (4.5 line) – 6 tds. Denver specifically sought him out to be their number one receiver. He's no longer playing second fiddle to Tyreek Hill and has a major upgrade at coach and quarterback. A score in week one will really set us up nicely with Jaylen only needing 5 more TD's the entire year to secure the moneybag. What's your favorite season-long prop?

I can't believe....
They cut Joly. Look I get the development part of this. But he was a 5th rounder! They must be hoping he's clearing waivers because that would be a big miss. I have a lot more to say about this and the other cuts on this week's Broncos Roundtable Podcast. My other thought is Red Murdock. Led the team in tackles in the last preaseason game and was top 5 in the other one. Our line backer corps is our weakness. I'm wondering if they plan to bring a vet in with the Cooper news. So much to cover don't miss the pod this week! Do you have a surprise cut you want us to talk about?

Pat Surtain II Named No. 10 in NFL Top List
PS2 comes in at number 10! I think the podcast bros thought he would be in the single digits but still let's celebrate this incredible accomplishment! I doubt another corner is listed above him. We will need him this year. Here are all the WR1's going up against Denver this year. Puca Nacua JSN Mike Evans Garrett Wilson DK Metcalf AJ Brown DJ Moore Rashee Rice (2x) Ladd McConkey (2x) If he locks these guys down - he should be top 5 next year!

Should the Broncos Sign One of These Guys?
So the Von Miller signing has me wondering... will the Broncos sign an additional edge at all? It really seems like a gamble not to sign one- especially with the Cooper situation and the injury to Bailey. Here's who is left unsigned: Joey Bosa, Haason Reddick, Kyle Van Noy and Leonard Floyd. Out of this list, Haason Reddick intrigues me. Perhaps Kyle Van Noy. What do you think? Should Denver add an edge?

Do You Agree With Bo Nix Sitting Against Atlanta?
Head Coach Sean Payton said he expects starters to play in the first preseason game tomorrow against the Falcons in Atlanta. However, yesterday he announced that Bo Nix will not see any action. We discussed this a bit in the Broncos Roundtable Podcast (Check it out!) -- and most of us were in agreement that Bo was going to sit. However, I would have loved to see him get at least one drive to see his movement in a game atmosphere. What do you think?

Davis Webb is Looking Forward to the Chiefs
Davis Webb spoke to members of the media recently, and he voiced his excitement for the offense. He said he looks forward to the preseason games and getting everyone in rhythm. He said the week one matchup against their rival will be "rocking" and it will be a good test to see where the team is at since most of the practices currently are scripted. It's important to remember Denver is foregoing scrimmages against other teams in practice. The three preseason games will truly be crucial for the team. Watch here:

Jaylen Waddle Shaken Up at Practice
We learned today Jaylen Waddle walked off the practice field and into the locker room early during practice today. Never something we want to see. It does appear the WR1 seems to be ok. Ian Rapoport suggested Sean Payton said Waddle had some "muscle tightness and that was all. It's for the best the broncos are taking it easy on their big acquisition over the offseason.

Bo Nix Keeps Getting Snubbed
The hits keep coming. CBS put Bo Nix on its most-overrated list. Garrett Podell at CBS Sports has named Nix one of the league's most overrated QBs, grouped with Caleb Williams and Baker Mayfield. Podell's argument leans on punts: Denver had 75 of them in 2025, fourth-most in the league. There were only three teams ahead of them: Browns, Titans, Raiders. They all missed the playoffs and fired their coaches. Podell says that Nix's struggles kept the offense from sustaining drives, and that he's propped up by a strong line and a strong defense. Fair enough on the line and defense. But "most overrated in the league" is a stretch for a guy with 10 game-winning drives in two seasons on a 14-3 team. Read it here:

Remembering a Classic
I was on X (I still call it Twitter) today and came across this game. I remember watching the Broncos vs. Cowboys in 2013 with one of my best friends who is a Cowboys fan. I don't think we sat down from the third quarter on. This was truly a back and forth and reminiscing on some of the greats that led to that high-octane offense-- Manning, Decker, Thomas, and Welker.

32 Days Away From....
In exactly 32 days, we'll get our first look at the Broncos in their first preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons! Football is almost back!!! Hopefully we will get a chance to see some of our young guys play, including Dallen Bentley, Justin Joly, Sam Ehlinger, Jonah Coleman, Troy Franklin and Caleb Lohner. Also wonder if we see Bo Nix take a snap? I assume not- but I hope Sean Payton does give him a drive at some point. I'm a big believer in letting the QB play at least a drive in preseason. Obviously as long as he's healthy.... Also, rookies report to training camp next Wednesday. We'll have a lot to talk about in the pod the next few weeks!!

Sean Payton Almost Made Bill Belichick Coach?!?!
This will be the craziest "what if" story you will read today. NFL insider Seth Wickersham just dropped an absolute bomb of a story about Sean Payton and the Broncos last year. You should really check it out, it's a good read. A small bit of it raised my eyebrow. Apparently, Payton seriously considered pitching a wild idea to Broncos ownership: Bring Bill Belichick to Denver as Head Coach. The twist? Payton would have temporarily stepped down to Assistant Coach to run the offense. The sole goal was to let Belichick get the 15 wins he needed to break Don Shula’s all-time record, after which Bill would retire and hand the keys back to Payton. On paper, pairing two of the greatest football minds of a generation sounds unstoppable. Payton grooms the offense, Belichick locks down the defense, and they dominate. But in reality? The media circus of a temporary coaching swap mid-season probably would have blown the whole thing up. Check out Wickersham's full piece here: Inside the Denver Broncos

Current Best Ball ADP for Broncos Players
One the last pod, I mentioned I drafted my first best ball team of the season. Take a look at the current draft positions for Broncos players. I think Engram is being slept on. Based on his current ADP, he's sometimes not even being drafted! Also, I think Waddle and Dobbins creep up based on the positive reports out of camp. Here's where the average numbers stand based on 12-team Underdog ADP for normal scoring leagues: Jaylen Waddle: 47th pick (End of 4th Round) Courtland Sutton: 81st pick (Middle of 7th Round) RJ Harvey: 86th pick (8th Round) JK Dobbins: 100th pick (9th Round) Bo Nix: 106th overall pick (End of 9th round) Jonah Coleman: 152nd pick (13th Round) Troy Franklin: 208th pick (18th Round) Pat Bryant: 209th pick (18th round) Evan Engram: 214th pick (end of 18th Round) Marvin Mims 216th pick (end of 18th Round)

Happy Birthday To One of the GREATS
Today is Champ Bailey's birthday! He turns 48 today. Champ became a Bronco in the headline-stealing trade involving Clinton Portis. While I was sad that Portis was leaving at the time, that trade solidified our defense for years- leading to a couple of AFC Championship games and a Super Bowl appearance. While he never won the big game, he's still a hallmark of what I hope every Denver Bronco will be. The team honored him on his B-day on social media. I also named my dog Bailey after him.

An early end to minicamp??
The Denver Broncos wrapped up their offseason program a day early, with Head Coach Sean Payton canceling Thursday’s final mandatory minicamp practice. Payton said both the team’s upcoming move into the new Broncos Park facility and his satisfaction with the progress made during offseason installations on offense and defense. I hope ending early means coaches were content where things were at with the players and everything is full go for training camp!

Bo Nix Update from Coach Payton
Good news all-- Sean Payton is making POSITIVE statements about Bo Nix's health. Sean recently told members of the media that Nix will be a “full go” at training camp. That is very significant news because there were questions after the unexpected second "clean up" surgery Bo underwent in the spring. It looks like Nix will have the time he needs to get acquainted with new weapons like Jaylen Waddle, Jonah Coleman and Justin Joly. We'll discuss this plus all the news on this week's Broncos Roundtable Podcast. Don't Miss it!
