Denver seeks explosive playmakers to elevate their offense, aiming to pair electrifying talent with Bo Nix for a championship run.

The Denver Broncos impressive season came to an unfortunate end in the AFC title game.

The injury to star quarterback Bo Nix was too much for Denver to overcome, and the New England Patriots won the AFC before getting dismantled by the Seattle Seahawks in Super LX.

As the Broncos enter the offseason, they have plenty of questions around the roster.

With free agency starting in March, there are some potential cuts looming for Denver, but they should be a team to watch once the free agency period begins.

Daniel Velante and Matthew Washington of The Score had one burning question for every AFC team. Here was the question for Denver entering the offseason:

Can the offense acquire more high-end talent at skill positions?

That is a good question, and it should be a priority for the front office. JK Dobbins played well before suffering another season-ending injury.

And, if it weren't for an emergence from rookie RJ Harvey, the RB room would've been a massive disappointment.

Courtland Sutton is reliable as always, and Troy Franklin has also shown his worth early in his NFL career.

But, Valente and Washington suggest that the Broncos need a "home-run hitter" on the offense, whether it is at the RB position or at the WR position.

If they do that, it would help ease the pressure from Nix, and give Payton and the offense more tools to work with offensively.

Barnwell's piece was hypothetical for now, and it was about trades that make sense for both teams. The Eagles might be inclined to trade Brown after some iffy antics, and the Broncos rolling out a 1-2 WR punch of Brown and Sutton with Franklin at No. 3 would be a scary sight for the rest of the league.

The downfall is that the Broncos pick at the end of the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and this year's RB class isn't the best outside of Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love.

The WR class might be decent, and perhaps the Broncos add a young pass-catcher, but they won't find a WR1 in the draft unless they trade up into the top-10.

The Broncos were so, so close to a Super Bowl trip, and the time is now for the front office to work some magic.
