As our trio of Mike, Eric and Randy dives into some storylines for the Denver Broncos' training camp, it's clear that there are multiple competitions for many different positions.

With training camp right around the corner, the Denver Broncos have a lot on their plate in the coming weeks.

Before camp, however, it was revealed Monday night that the Broncos are "expected" to re-hire outside linebackers coach Michael Wilhoite. The team and Wilhoite parted ways in March of 2025 after news broke that the coach was charged with assault of a police officer, and those charges have since been dropped.

Moving on to some storylines to watch out for in training camp, the battle for QB2 is expected to be a great one. Bo Nix will clearly be the team's starting quarterback, with Jarrett Stidham and Sam Ehlinger in a close competition for the backup role.

With Nix's injury recovery possibly preventing a Week 1 start, this battle will be one to keep an eye on.

Mike's player to watch in camp is running back RJ Harvey, who will compete with JK Dobbins for carries. Both have clear RB1 capabilities, but Mike gives Harvey the edge.

After the above battle, there's still plenty of depth in the backfield for Denver. Rookie RB Jonah Coleman is also looking to make his mark, so there will be healthy competition in training camp.

On the other side of the ball, Randy mentions the ongoing Jonathan Cooper saga, which will continue this week as Cooper is set to appear in court. His future with the Broncos is still uncertain, but the team has not yet made any decision on his situation.
