The Denver Broncos undoubtedly have a star-studded roster, and it was confirmed last week in the NFL's annual 'Top 100' players ranking.

Following a few successful weeks of OTAs and minicamp, there is plenty of news surrounding the Denver Broncos.

Eric opens up the discussion with a few of the cuts and waivers made by Denver. Wide receiver Michael Woods, offensive lineman Nash Jones and cornerback Amari Harvey were all waived last week, presumably to free up space for the UFL additions to the squad.

Eric continues to mention that this was all meticulously planned by head coach Sean Payton and general manager George Paton to "scrape the bottom of the barrel" for the hidden gems, such as WR Hakeem Butler, who has been making waves within the organization.

These moves are all leading up to July 22, when rookies report to camp, essentially marking the very beginning of the 2026-27 season.

On a bit of a more upsetting note, the Jonathan Cooper saga continues, with the most recent update being that his initial court dates have been pushed back to July 24, with no word from the Broncos on his future with the organization just yet. Mike mentions how this will continue to be a situation to monitor as his future is uncertain.

Later on in the episode, a debate on who the Broncos should target (assuming Cooper does not return to the team) arises, with the general consensus being that defensive end Joey Bosa is the best available; Denver should try to sign him immediately to not disrupt their Super Bowl dreams next season.

Randy switched gears toward the NFL's Top 100 players list, which features five Broncos receiving a nod. CB Pat Surtain II came in at No. 11, offensive tackle Garrett Bolles at No. 26, guard Quinn Meinerz at No. 42, linebacker Nik Bonitto at No. 58 and quarterback Bo Nix at No. 87.

Mike looks at some notable matchups in the upcoming season and which teams are now potentially going to cause trouble for Denver when they face off, specifically looking at offences that upgraded this offseason.

First on the list is WR A.J. Brown, who landed with the New England Patriots. The Broncos will face NE in Week 17 for an AFC Championship rematch. Next, the Buffalo Bills signed WR DJ Moore in the offseason and will face Denver right before NE in Week 16. This all leads up to the conversation about the challenges that Surtain will face next season, and the back-to-back offensive threats of Moore and Brown.
