The Denver Broncos fell flat to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 and will be looking to assert dominance in their upcoming matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Our trio of Mike, Eric and Randy opens up the show with a recap of Monday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, which resulted in a 31-10 loss.
The Bad
First, Mike takes a look at what went wrong for Denver, starting with their inability to stop the run game. Chiefs' running back Kenneth Walker III racked up 173 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Eric continues, mentioning how the tackling was virtually nonexistent and the disappointment that comes with looking at the box score and the end result. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for just 184 yards, but the Chiefs ran the ball down the field throughout the game.
Randy's take on what went wrong specifically highlighted the 28 missed tackles that led to an extra 247 yards for the Chiefs, including the 60-yard touchdown from Walker.
On the other side of the ball, our trio is upset by the offense that Davis Webb ran, which Randy mentions how wide receivers Jaylen Waddle and Courtland Sutton were essentially not involved -- totaling three catches for 13 yards between the two.
After the game, head coach Sean Payton talked about how nothing went well for Denver and shouldered most of the blame. However, he said that he was not panicking after just one game and is ready to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
The Good
Despite the loss, there were some silver linings to be excited about.
Mike starts this conversation with running back RJ Harvey's surprising performance. The box score doesn't truly show how well he played, as Mike mentions that his blocking was stellar and his hands were looking great. Harvey also had 111 yards on kick returns, showing potential in that role as well.
Tight end Evan Engram's touchdown was Mike's highlight of the night for Denver, with the trio excited to see how he plays this season.
Week 2 Preview
Then, moving on to Week 2, our trio looks into what we can expect against the Jaguars in this year's hope opener on Sunday.
Randy specifically mentions that he's looking for more effort across the board, and hopes that the Broncos can clean it up in the second half, where the team looked to be flat.
Looking at the bigger picture, Mike thinks Denver needs to go at least 4-4 in their next eight games to stay in playoff contention this year, with Randy feeling like Week 2 is a must-win game already.
