Bo Nix ignites an offensive explosion, securing a crucial win and cementing the Broncos' dominance as playoff contenders.

The Denver Broncos’ Week 15 matchup against the Green Bay Packers saw Denver take sole possession of the best record in the NFL, beating the Packers 34-26 on Sunday. Now with a record of 12-2, there’s no question about who the team to beat in the AFC is.

Sunday’s game was huge for the Broncos as they were at-home-underdogs against the 9-3-1 Packers heading into the game. The Broncos needed to defend their home field and walk out with a convincing win to finally quiet down any speculation about their legitimacy as the playoffs loom – and they did just that.

Denver quarterback Bo Nix had one of the best games of his two-year career so far on Sunday, throwing for 302 yards and four touchdowns on 23 completions against the Packers' defense. For his performance against Green Bay, Nix earned an ‘A+’ grade from Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski in his latest QB Report Cards article.

Nix’s four touchdowns tied a career high, which he has reached four times now, with his most recent four-touchdown game being against the Dallas Cowboys back in Week 8. He also finished with his fifth-highest passing yards total of his career, reaching the 300+ mark for the second time in his last three games.

In his last three games, Nix has scored six total touchdowns and totaled 876 yards from the air and ground. Just as the season is coming to a close and the playoffs grow nearer, Nix is playing his best football yet.

“Bo Nix is getting better every week,” Sobleski wrote on Nix’s standout Week 15 performance. “With Sunday's performance against the Packers, the sophomore signal-caller reached the point where he can help turn the Denver Broncos from a very good into a dominant team.”

With how the Denver offense has been rolling in recent weeks, there’s little doubt that it will stop in the final three games of the season. Set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at home next, Nix will look to once again prove that the Broncos’ offense can be just as dangerous as their elite defense.
