Here are three of the biggest X-Factors for the Cleveland Browns to win this week against the Jets.

The Cleveland Browns have been one of the bigger surprises of the 2026 NFL season so far.

Cleveland enters its Week 5 game against the New York Jets sitting with a record of 3-1 on the season, with the team winning three straight games. After a poor performance in Week 1, the Browns have turned everything around over the last few weeks.

The Jets, on the other hand, are on the opposite spectrum, having lost three straight games after winning in Week 1. New York will try to get back on track against the upstart Browns this week.

Here are three of the biggest X-Factors for the Browns to take down the Jets entering the game.

1. Get Quinshon Judkins Going

Entering the season, the Browns' running game was supposed to be centered around back Quinshon Judkins, but he has gotten off to a slow start. Through the first four games of the season, Judkins has only rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown.

For the Browns to keep the offensive going, they will need to get Judkins more involved in the attack, and the Jets have been prone to giving up yards to running backs. Judkins could be in line for a strong game, if he can break out of this early-season slump.

2. Deshaun Watson Continues to Do "Just Enough"

Quarterback Deshaun Watson has overcome early-season scrutiny this year, with the veteran playing well enough for the Browns to win games. Watson hasn't lit the world on fire, but he has put his team into a place to earn the victory each week.

Against the Jets, Watson can't overlook things or let his success get to his head; instead, the veteran should focus on playing his game, allowing the defense to dictate it all. Watson has the Browns offense rolling right now, and he will try to keep it going against New York.

3. Pressure the Jets Offensive Line

One advantage that the Browns have over the Jets comes from the defensive line and the pressure they can put on New York. Cleveland has a fierce defensive front, and they are one of the best in the NFL at pressuring the quarterback and getting into the backfield.

On the flip side. the Jets are one of the worst teams in the league in allowing pressure, giving the Browns a chance to do some real damage here. If Cleveland can make life tough for Jets quarterback Geno Smith, it could be another fun game for this team.
