Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced huge Shedeur Sanders news.

A day after the Cleveland Browns lost at home to the Tennessee Titans, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced huge Shedeur Sanders news.

Cleveland will start Sanders at QB for the rest of the season.

"He has constantly and consistently gotten better in each one of these games and how he's approached this game," Stefanski said. "He's been working very hard, so I feel good about where his development is heading. He knows there are always going to be plays that he can be better and those type of things. But he's very intentional about getting better each and every game he's out there."

Sanders had his best game as a pro against the Titans. He went 23-42 through the air for 364 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

The Colorado product also had 29 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.

Sanders is the first Browns QB with three passing touchdowns and a rushing TD in a game since Derek Anderson in Week 6 of the 2007 season.

The Browns have four games left in the season. They face the Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals.

Sanders has 769 passing yards, five passing touchdowns and three interceptions on the season. He's completing 52.4% of his passes.

"If I'm out there any play, I wish I would always have the ball in my hand," Sanders said after the Browns-Titans game. "But that's not what football is. ... In any situation, of course you want to, but I know we practiced something and we executed it in practice, and we just didn't seem to this day. So, I would never go against kind of what the call was or anything."

If Sanders continues to play well, it's possible the Browns won't have to draft a QB in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
