Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy could be moved at the trade deadline this year.

The Cleveland Browns are 3-1 to open the new season, with the team rattling off three straight wins following an opening week loss.

Cleveland has been able to put together strong play on both sides of the ball, showing a lot of fight early in the year. The offense went through multiple changes over the offseason, with the Browns bringing in more weapons to use.

The team drafted two wide receivers in the first two rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft, and each player has performed well so far. KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have both shown out, giving quarterback Deshaun Watson more to work with.

Due to the added wide receivers, this has seen veteran Jerry Jeudy lose his place in the offense. Cleveland is clearly working toward more of a youth movement on offense, and Jeudy could be the odd man out of the picture.

This could see the veteran be moved at the upcoming trade deadline, with multiple teams likely interested in his services. And NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN said that Jeudy could be moved, especially if his role in the offense doesn't pick up.

For the year, Jeudy only has five catches for 62 yards, showing a clear lack of design in the Browns offensive attack. So, for Cleveland, if they could move him for another future draft pick, it could be beneficial for both sides.

The Browns could net something of value for the veteran wide receiver, while opening the door for the younger guys to get more playing time. And for Jeudy, he may be able to see more action with a new team, and a change of scenery could be needed for him.

The veteran is signed through the 2027 season, giving whichever team that would trade for him, more than just a rental player. Jeudy is owed around $23 million between his salary and bonuses, but none of it is guarantted.

This could allow a team to decide how to proceed with the veteran, giving them more flexibility. The cost to land Jeudy likely wouldn't be too high either since he hasn't put together a strong year since 2024.

But overall, this could be a smart move for the Browns to make, giving their younger players a better chance to thrive in the system. Cleveland's front office has some tough decisions to make going forward, with the future of Jeudy being one of the main ones.
