The Cleveland Browns landed two star defenders in EDGE Myles Garrett and cornerback Denzel Ward on this year's AFC Pro Bowl Team.

After an abysmal 2025 NFL regular season for the Cleveland Browns, the struggling organization received some positive news on Tuesday morning regarding two of the team’s best defenders.

With two weeks left in the regular season, the 2026 Pro Bowl has become a major talking point amongst fans, as multiple Browns players made a push to be on the highly-regarded list.

Luckily for Cleveland, both EDGE rusher Myles Garrett and cornerback Denzel Ward made the cut and will represent the Browns on the AFC Pro Bowl team this year.

It should come as no surprise that Garrett was named to this year’s roster after his incredible efforts this season. The 29-year-old playermaker is just a half sack away from tying New York Giants’ legend Michael Strahan and Pittsburgh Steelers’ T.J. Watt for the most sacks in a single season.

In addition to recording 22 sacks this season, Garrett continues to be the most dominant defensive end in the NFL, tallying 71 total pressures, 12 quarterback hurries, and three forced fumbles, according to PFF. His potential record-setting season has been a key reason why the Browns’ front four has been successful this season, as the team ranks third in total sacks through 16 weeks with 49.

This will be the seventh Pro Bowl selection for Garrett in his nine seasons in the NFL.

As for Ward, the former 2018 first-round pick has been the focal point of the Browns' secondary unit this season. The statistics do not tell the full story when examining Ward’s 2025 campaign, as he has managed to record four pass breakups and one interception in his 13 games played this season.

However, under defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz in 2025, Ward has been the franchise’s main contributor against opposing teams' passing games, as Cleveland ranks first across the entire NFL landscape in passing yards allowed per game at 164.1 yards.

Ward’s most recent selection to the Pro Bowl will now make it his fifth appearance on the AFC roster, while also being the third of his last four seasons that he’s been selected during his prolific NFL career.
