The Cleveland Browns are being predicted to shake things up in the NFL Draft.
The Cleveland Browns own the sixth overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, but there has been much deliberation as to who they might actually select.
Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate has been tabbed as a top potential choice for the Browns, but there is also the chance they might go with a tackle. The question is, will there be any tackles worth taking at No. 6?
Dane Brugler of The Athletic recently published a seven-round mock draft and has Cleveland trading down, sending pick Nos. 6 and 39 to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for pick Nos. 12 and 20 as well as a 2027 fourth-round selection.
Brugler then projects the Browns to nab Utah tackle Spencer Fano at No. 12.
"[Fernando] Mendoza going No. 1 and the Browns looking to trade back — those are about the only two things we for sure know will be happening early in Round 1," Brugler wrote. "Fano will be high on the Browns’ wish list if they stick and pick at No. 6, and he’s a no-brainer at No. 12 in this trade-back scenario."

Brugler has Miami tackle Francis Mauigoa — viewed by most as the best tackle in this year's class — going to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 3, which could provoke Cleveland to trade back a few spots to land Fano.
There was a time when Fano was considered a sure-fire top-10 selection, but his stock has dipped just a bit over the last several weeks. Perhaps just enough for the Browns to trade down and bag him with the 12th overall pick.
Additionally, Brugler has Cleveland snatching Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion at No. 20. The Browns are in dire need of receiving help, so it seems almost certain they will take a wide out in the early stages of the draft.
Brugler then predicted the Browns to take Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in a head-turner at No. 24, one of the picks they acquired from the Jacksonville Jaguars in their draft day trade last year.
