Joe Flacco got the Browns into field goal range, and Andre Szmyt hit the game-winner from 55 yards away.
This is a major win for Cleveland, as the Packers were regarded as one of the best teams in the NFL before this matchup. Green Bay took down the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders in the first two weeks with relative ease.
However, the Browns' defense completely shut down the Packers' offense and came up with a crucial interception when it mattered most. They sacked Jordan Love five times and held Josh Jacobs to 30 yards on 16 carries.
Rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger stood out on defense, finishing with 10 total tackles and a sack. The Browns' first-round pick, Mason Graham, also contributed a 0.5 sack, showcasing the talent of these young players around superstar Myles Garrett.
