Shedeur Sanders takes center stage when the Cleveland Browns battle the Buffalo Bills in their second preseason game with a number of notable players not expected to play.

Last week Deshaun Watson had his opportunity to start a preseason game for the Cleveland Browns on the road in Chicago. This week, against the Buffalo Bills, Shedeur Sanders get his chance to start in the friendly confines of Huntington Bank Field.

It's the last hurrah for the team's quarterback competition, which Todd Monken revealed pre-game will have an answer early next week.

Sanders won't have the full arsenal of starters around him after the Bills and Browns went head-to-head during a joint practice on Thursday. But the game will serve as a great opportunity for plenty of players across the roster to make a case for being part of the final 53 in a little over a week.

A number of young players are expected to play today with Sanders, though. The lengthy list of players who won't be suiting up on Saturday features:

Notably, a number of starting players aren't listed, including Denzel Ward and the entire starting o-line. Ward was also not part of the "will not play" list last week, but didn't end up playing against the Bears, so just because a player isn't listed doesn't mean they'll play.

The Browns and Bills will kick things off at 1 p.m. at Huntington Bank Field.
