During the Cleveland Browns' home loss to the San Francisco 49ers, CBS cameras caught QB Shedeur Sanders and WR Jerry Jeudy getting into a sideline spat while watching film.
People around the NFL began to speculate that Sanders and Jeudy had beef, but that's not the case at all.
"We resolved that," Sanders said. "We're not going to speak on that."
"We spoke about it," Jeudy added. "We're good. ... It's an emotional sport. Things like that happen. It's football."
The Browns lost to the 49ers by a final score of 26-8.
Sanders finished the game 16-25 through the air for 149 yards and one touchdown. He was sacked three times.
Meanwhile, Jeudy had three catches on four targets for 26 yards.
"The hardest thing in this game and right now is having trust, having trust in everybody," Sanders said. "Certain movements, certain things, it's so detailed, and that's how I play very comfortably. That's how I get in my comfort zone, that's how I get in my bag, that's how I'm able to do that.
"It's different, because this is a different year. It's not a traditional way. It's not a traditional situation, and that's OK because it's a challenge. And I know we're going to be able to overcome the challenge. But it just expedites everything. You just go out there and take risks. It is what it is."
When asked by reporters if he would have handled the interaction differently with Sanders, Jeudy said, "Probably talk to him off camera, that's probably what I would have done differently. I'm going to speak my mind and say what I see out there, but it is what it is. It's football. Me and Shedeur good. Stuff like that happens."
Sanders will start again this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. The rookie has 405 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and two interceptions on the season.
"Football is an emotional sport," Browns head coach Stefanski said, "and certainly when you're a family like we are, you can have your disagreements. Sometimes they're for everybody to see. Sometimes it's behind closed doors. But like a family, we move on, we talk about it, so not worried about it."
Jeudy made his first Pro Bowl last season. He has 35 catches in 2025 for 421 yards and only one touchdown. The talented WR is on pace for a career low in receptions.
The Browns enter the Titans game with a record of only 3-9.
