The Cleveland Browns have placed LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (neck) on reserve/physically unable to perform.
That means Owusu-Koramoah, who missed last season, won't play next season either.
Owusu-Koramoah sustained a neck injury during the 2024 season against the Baltimore Ravens. The 26-year-old is pursuing a master's degree in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School this fall.
A Notre Dame product, Owusu-Koramoah has played in 49 games with the Browns. He has eight sacks, 205 solo tackles, 40 tackles for loss and 14 QB hits.
Owusu-Koramoah made the Pro Bowl in 2023. In August 2024, the Browns signed him to a three-year extension worth up to $39 million.
Cleveland went 5-12 last season. Todd Monken replaces Kevin Stefanski, who was fired and joined the Atlanta Falcons as their new HC.
