The Cleveland Browns are being projected to land a top wide receiver in a major trade.
The Cleveland Browns have holes all over the place, but one of their most glaring areas of need is at wide receiver.
Outside of Jerry Jeudy, the Browns have little to nothing at the position, and Jeudy himself was a massive disappointment in 2025.
Fortunately, Cleveland owns a pair of first-round picks (Nos. 6 and 24) in this year's NFL Draft, so it will probably take a receiver on Day 1.
In fact, Chad Reuter of NFL.com feels that the Browns will be so desperate to nab a pass-catcher that they will trade up to No. 20 in order to bag Arizona State star Jordyn Tyson.
"The Browns swap picks in the third and fifth rounds with Dallas to move up from No. 24 so they can grab Tyson," Reuter wrote. "Cleveland needs a big-time playmaker to take the pressure off Jerry Jeudy and give whoever ends up at quarterback another dynamic target."
Tyson is two seasons removed from hauling in 75 receptions for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns, the best year of his collegiate career. In 2025, he caught 61 passes for 711 yards and eight scores in nine games.

Tyson began his NCAA tenure at Colorado in 2022 and suffered a devastating knee injury in which he tore his ACL, MCL and PCL during his freshman campaign. He then sustained a fractured collarbone late in 2024, and this past season, Tyson dealt with a nagging hamstring issue.
The fact that the 21-year-old did not participate at the Scouting Combine nor his Pro Day did not exactly help his case, either.
However, Tyson held a private workout this past Friday, and the Browns were one of the teams in attendance. Apparently, Tyson looked terrific during the workout, and most importantly, he looked healthy.
But can Tyson actually stay on the field long term?
That's a question that Cleveland must ask itself, especially in a draft class that is absolutely loaded with talent at wide receiver.
The Browns might be better off going with a safer pick to bolster their receiving corps, but there is no doubting Tyson's potential.
