The Cleveland Browns are expressing interest in a free-agent wide receiver.

The Cleveland Browns have a lot of needs to address to improve their roster for the 2026 season. Perhaps their biggest need is at the wide receiver position.

Cleveland's leading receiver in 2025 was rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr., with 72 receptions for 731 yards and six touchdowns. Jerry Jeudy led the team among wide receivers with 50 receptions for 602 yards and two touchdowns.

It's clear that the Browns need to upgrade their weapons, regardless of who will be the starting quarterback in 2026.

General manager Andrew Berry seems to be addressing this issue, as the Browns are expressing interest in free agent wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson.

Robinson is coming off a career year with the New York Giants, hauling in 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns.

The 25-year-old would instantly become a top weapon in the Browns' offense. Robinson is a slot receiver and would help the offense continue to build.

Cleveland has started to establish some solid pieces on that side of the ball. In the 2025 NFL Draft, they brought in running back Quinshon Judkins, tight end Fannin Jr., and quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Judkins was productive in his rookie campaign, rushing for 827 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.

Sanders showed flashes at the quarterback position, completing 56.6 percent of his passes for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown.

With this young talent growing, adding a weapon in Robinson, who is only 25, would add to their long-term core.

The Browns could also still add an outside receiver in the draft, as Robinson plays in the slot. There are plenty of talented outside receivers in the class, giving Cleveland the chance to improve its offense drastically ahead of the 2026 season.

The Browns have one of the best defenses in football, led by Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett.

With their new head coach, Todd Monken, in place, who is an offensive mind, adding pieces like Robinson could help elevate the team from their 5-12 record in the 2025 season.
