Cleveland Browns are considering an interesting tackle prospect with No. 6 overall pick according to ESPN's Jordan Reid.

At this point, the Cleveland Browns have been linked to an assortment of different players with the No 6 overall pick. Of course, major holes remain at left tackle and wide receiver, making those the most prominent positions mocked to them over the last few months.

That's no different for NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid, who sees the Browns choosing between those two needs if they don't trade out of the spot. However, Reid brought a curious name to the table that GM Andrew Berry may be leaning toward in his latest piece for ESPN:

If the Browns do elect to target offensive tackle and receiver, it comes down to which position Cleveland sees as having more depth If it feels like there's a shortage of pass catchers that could be available at No. 24, then it should take Tate. If it doesn't love the tackle depth, then Fano and Monroe Freeling (Georgia) are two names that have been mentioned by sources. But here's a name that shocked me when speaking about who Cleveland really likes at No. 6 ... Alabama tackle Kadyn Proctor.

Proctor is an interesting name to be added to the conversation for Cleveland at six. While the Alabama product is considered a first-round talent, the top 10 feels a little high to potentially take Proctor, who is a former five-star recruit, but wasn't nearly consistent enough at the college level.

Conversely, he did play left tackle for the entirety of his college career, which would make him a flawless fit to fill the Browns' biggest remaining hole on the offensive line. It's worth noting that Proctor was in for one of the Browns' top 30 pre-draft visits this week.

It's an interesting point in the pre-draft process for Reid to drop this intel. Less than two weeks out from the NFL Draft, this is very much the stage of the offseason where teams try to manipulate the board and perhaps inspire some movement up or down the order.

Time will tell if Reid's insight proves to be correct and the Browns prefer Proctor over other potential tackle options at six. As he noted, Freeling, Fano and even Miami's Francis Mauigoa have also been linked to Cleveland throughout the pre-draft process.

If the Browns don't decide to go with a tackle that early, Ohio State wideout Carnell Tate could also in play, along with any of the other top players in the class, regardless of position, should they slide out of the top five picks.
