In what was a disappointing season for the Cleveland Browns, it was a memorable one for star defensive end Myles Garrett, who finished off the 2025 campaign by reaching the single-season sack record in Week 18.
His historic season was rewarded with an AP First Team All-Pro nomination. It's his seventh time being selected to the NFL's All-Pro team, and his fifth time as a member of the first team. He's also received first-team recognition in three straight years.
Garrett was the only member of the Browns to make this year's All-Pro team. It comes after the 30-year-old was already voted to his seventh Pro Bowl.
The accolades are likely to continue for Garrett next month at the NFL Honors, where he's the frontrunner to win the AP Defensive Player of the Year for a second time in his career. He also won the award in 2023.
While setting the single-season sack record was the gran prize for Garrett, he set numerous records along the way, including becoming the first player since 1982 to record 12 sacks in six consecutive seasons. He also established a new mark for the most sacks by a player under the age of 30.
Additionally, he cruised past his previous career high and the Browns franchise record for sacks in a season, which was 16 coming into this season. On top of his career-high in sacks, Garrett also notched a career-high in tackles for loss with 33 and tied his career-high for combined tackles with 60, forced three fumbles and defensed one pass.
