The Cleveland Browns have already added a couple of players via free agency, signing linebacker Quincy Williams as well as offensive lineman Zion Johnson.
However, the Browns still have a glaring need at wide receiver, and they have yet to make any moves on that front just yet.
But is it possible Cleveland could swing a blockbuster trade for a wide out?
ESPN's Tony Grossi has reported that the Browns are in trade talks with the Jacksonville Jaguars regarding star receiver Brian Thomas Jr.
"Berry also is pursuing a trade for Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who is drawing interest from multiple teams, per reports," Grossi wrote.
Thomas surprisingly surfaced in trade rumors back at the November deadline, but the Jaguars opted to hold on to him. But now, Jacksonville appears more serious about moving the former first-round pick.
Apparently, Thomas does not see eye to eye with Jaguars head coach Liam Coen, who took over the team ahead of Thomas' second season this past year.

During his second season, however, Thomas' usage dipped tremendously, as the LSU product caught 48 passes for 707 yards and a couple of scores. He still averaged 14.7 yards per catch just like during his rookie year, but it was clear that Thomas was not prioritized nearly as much.
The fact that Jacksonville is considering moving him is odd considering that Travis Hunter will be shifting to a full-time defensive role next season, but clearly, things are not exactly simpatico between Thomas and the Jaguars.
Cleveland is in dire need of help at the wide receiver position, so Thomas would absolutely represent a fantastic get.
Of course, the Browns would probably have to surrender a fair amount of draft capital to land the 23-year-old, but Cleveland is armed with a pair of first-round selections and 10 picks overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Thomas also has three years of team control remaining, so the Browns would not have to worry about paying him for quite some time.
