Following a disappointing 2025 season for the Cleveland Browns, general manager Andrew Berry and the rest of the front office have quickly shifted into the offseason to prepare for the 2026 season.
While the head coach position remains the top priority for the struggling franchise right now, the 2026 NFL Draft continues to be a hot topic amongst the fanbase. And with the Browns finally figuring out where their second first-round pick will fall, here is a full seven-round mock draft.
Adam Cairns/Columbus DispatchIf Oregon quarterback Dante Moore becomes a top-five pick in this year’s draft, the next-best option for the Browns is to build up the offense.
At pick No. 6, Cleveland could find its top wide receiver for the foreseeable future in Ohio State’s Carnell Tate. The 6-foot-3, 191 lbs., junior has been overshadowed for a good portion of his college career; however, Tate managed to shine this past season. Behind star wideout Jeremiah Smith, the Chicago, IL native tallied 875 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 51 catches in 2025.
Tate’s ability to win at all three levels of the field makes him an intriguing prospect, as he possesses all the tools to be a true No. 1 weapon in the NFL. This, along with his smooth route-running ability, would make him an excellent choice for the Browns.
Petre Thomas-Imagn ImagesAnother position group for the Browns that is in desperate need of help this offseason is the offensive line. And with an additional first-round pick in the upcoming draft, Berry could begin to rebuild the line with Georgia’s Monroe Freeling.
As a two-year starter with the Bulldogs, Freeling has proven to be a terrific pass blocker while also having solid quickness off the line of scrimmage. Standing at 6-foot-7, 315 lbs., the highly-touted linemen does a great job of winning with power in both the pass and run game.
While Freeland must improve as a run blocker at the next level, his strong foundation as a pass blocker will allow him to be a plug-and-play offensive lineman as a rookie. Freeling may be a consensus day two pick as of now, but a strong combine will surely boost his stock before April.

With the Browns’ defense in good shape, it would only make sense that the front office would double down on the offensive line in round two by selecting Clemson’s Blake Miller.
In his four seasons as a starting offensive tackle for the Tigers, Miller has allowed a total of 10 quarterback hits and eight sacks over the course of his 2,183 pass plays. His dominant play up front also includes a strong run-blocking resume, making him an excellent choice for Cleveland in the second round.
Kirby Lee-Imagn ImagesThe Browns’ defense does not feature many holes heading into next season; however, the one area that could use some improvement is in the secondary unit.
USC safety Kamari Ramsey is coming off another impressive year with the Trojans, which has completely boosted his stock. In his two years with USC, Ramsey racked up a total of 87 tackles, seven pass deflections, six tackles for losses, two sacks, and one interception.
As a “do-it-all” safety, the California native would be the perfect addition to Cleveland’s defensive unit in 2026. His ability to play within the slot, deep, or inside the box would give the organization’s next defensive coordinator a key weapon alongside star linebacker Carson Schwesinger.
