Inclement weather and "trap game" warnings loom at MetLife Stadium as a surging Cleveland Browns team face off with a desperate New York Jets squad. What should you expect once the ball is kicked?

Some have called the Cleveland Browns Week 5 matchup with the New York Jets a 'trap game.' From the outside, it makes sense.

Cleveland is fresh off an emotional win over the Pittsburgh Steelers to get to 3-1 on the season. Another massive divisional matchup awaits them next week with the Baltimore Ravens coming to town. Meanwhile, the Jets are 1-3 and desperate for a win to get their season back on track.

Internally, though, Todd Monken and the players have all said the right things and seem to be treating this game with the appropriate level of respect.
It all comes to a head when the two AFC foes, who seemingly cross paths every year, clash at Metlife Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Our picks are in:

Who Wins?

Anthony Moeglin:

Cleveland goes from having the eyes of the NFL on them last week to maybe having the least-viewed game of the week in rainy New York on Sunday. The Browns' three-game win streak is on the line against an opponent that they feel like they should go in there and beat. However, this is also a game that the young Jets also feel like they should be able to get, so something has to give. The Jets fly on Sunday and take down the Browns, putting a damper on the season.

Spencer German:

This is such a tough game to get a read on. Record wise the Browns are better. I think roater wise the Browns are also better. But with Mason Graham and Mike Hall Jr. sidelined and the weather forecast calling for lots of rain via the remnants of Hurricane Isaias this game could be decided in the trenches and on the ground. That's an area where the Browns have struggled, but perhaps the Jets porous defense is the right matchup to get on track. Browns win a tight, low scoring affair to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Do The Browns Cover?

Anthony:

This one is pretty much a Pick 'Em, with the Browns at +1.5 as underdogs on Sunday. I have this going the Jets way by a score of 13-10.

Spencer:

Vegas still isn't buying the Browns, who are 1.5-point underdogs on the road this weekend. A win means Cleveland covers, though, let's go 17-16.

Bold Prediction For Sunday

Anthony

Jared Verse gets his first sack as a member of the Browns

This stinks to say that this is a bold prediction, but my bold prediction this week is that Jared Verse gets his first sack as a Cleveland Brown. He will spin the corner and get to Geno Smith, and – to take it a step further – his first sack in the Orange and Brown is a strip sack recovered by the Browns' defense.

Spencer:

Quinshon Judkins goes for 100 for the first time this season

I'm going back to the well on this one, because at some point it's going to happen, right? Why not this week against a Jets run defense that has struggled these first four weeks.
