Thursday Night Football provides an electric backdrop for the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers to battle over first place in the AFC North.

Anyone should be able to get up for a showdown between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, especially with Thursday Night Football as the backdrop for this heated rivalry.

This stage has been very kind to the Browns of late, who enter this one 7-0 on TNF dating back to 2018. The opposite is true for Pittsburgh, who is 0-9 in divisional, road TNF games and 1-6-1 in their last eight appearances at Huntington Bank Field.

Those trends could define another epic prime time matchup between these two AFC North rivals, with first place in the division on the line.

Here are our predictions:

Who Wins?

Anthony Moeglin:

Thursday Night Football in Cleveland is one of the greatest scenes in the NFL. No matter what, the city shows out and shows up for the team, and in the weirdest trend in the past 15 years is the Cleveland Browns dominating on Thursday Night Football. They have won seven straight TNF games, but that streak ends on Thursday. The vibes are too high, too positive around Cleveland, and this becomes the spot where they slip up. Steelers beat the Browns and pour some cold water on the fun start to the season.

Spencer German:

I've admittedly wavered on this all week. These intra AFC North games tend to me tight and they tend me slogs. The Browns have also had a ton of recent success in their stadium against the Steelers and on Thursday nights. That said, I have legitimate concerns about their o-line vs. Pittsburgh's d-line, especially with Elgton Jenkins no ruled out. There's a lot telling me to pick the Steelers, which is exactly why I'm taking the Browns in another low-scoring grind that comes down to the final few minutes.

Do The Browns Cover?

Anthony:

Similar to last week, a 2.5-point spread is basically a pick 'em in today's NFL, and the Browns are on the wrong side of it. I think that the game is low-scoring until late in the fourth, when the Steelers go on a game-securing drive to win 24-14.

Spencer:

Another week where the Browns are 2.5-point dogs at home. This game should be tight and it takes some more Deshaun Watson fourth-quarter magic to set Cleveland up for a game-winning FG and the Browns cover 20-18.

Bold Prediction For Sunday

Anthony

KC Concepcion Breaks Out

KC Concepcion has his coming-out party, and it starts right away. Deshaun Watson and Concepcion hook up on the first drive for a 40-plus-yard touchdown to get the night going for the Browns.

Spencer:

The Defense Forces 2 Aaron Rodgers Turnovers

Weird things tend to happen in these matchups, especially on Thursday night. Cleveland's defense has been really good ovr the last couple weeks in limiting the damage from opposing offense. The turnovers, however, have been minimal. That changes tonight, with the Browns forcing two turnovers off Rodgers to help lift them to victory.
