The Cleveland Browns need a wide receiver. Arizona State star Jordyn Tyson is one of the top options on the board when they're on the clock with the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft come April.
Ironically, Tyson has one of the more unique connections to Cleveland. His brother, Jaylon, is becoming a local star in his own right, carving out an impactful role with the Cleveland Cavaliers in just his second NBA season.
There's a dream scenario where the Tyson brothers are both living their childhood dreams together in Northeast Ohio. If it happens, Jordyn already has big plans with his brother.
"He'll be buying the house, and he'll get the big room cause that's big bro," he said with a smile at the NFL Combine on Friday. "Shoot that'd be a blessing if it happened and, I'm cool with whatever if I go there."
Having both Tyson brothers in Cleveland would certainly be a fun experience for everyone. There are bound to be some game days where fans can get the full Tyson experience, with the Browns kicking off in the afternoon on a Sunday and the Cavs playing later that night.
Jordyn and Jalyon grew up in a very competitive sports family. Their father, John was a highly touted football recruit back in the day, before a broken arm left him attending Florida A&M. Their oldest brother Berron played football at South Alabama. That's on top of being plenty competitive with each other, as brothers tend to be.
Should they end up together in Cleveland, Jordyn believes it would only help push him to be the best version of himself.
"I think we'd love [being there together], but me personally, I feel like he'll just make me more locked in on a day-to-day basis just seeing him, cause he's the reason that I have this work ethic to this day." said Jordyn. "Just the ability to look at him as a pro, and see what he does on a day-to-day basis, I feel like it would increase my game even more than he already has."
Tyson did confirm that he met with the Browns, specifically GM Andrew Berry and head coach Todd Monken. Tyson is not, however, expected to work out at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis this weekend.
