Every offensive line has its glue guy -- the one who patches holes, stabilizes chaos, and makes the entire unit function. For Texas A&M, that player has been Trey Zuhn III.

If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking for a prospect who embodies the term Swiss Army knife, Zuhn is that player.

The Buccaneers are set to make their first selection on opening night at this year's draft, with the No. 15 pick, on Thursday, April 23, in Pittsburgh. The team owns a total of seven picks this year, including three in the top 100.

In the meantime, Bucs Roundtable will take a closer look at a range of prospects headed for the 2026 draft that might jell with Tampa Bay's current roster, coaching staff, and the team's X's and O's strategies.

Here, we turn the spotlight on Aggies left tackle Trey Zuhn.

The 23-year-old graduate student from Fort Collins, Colorado, is a versatile technician who evolved throughout his college days from a dependable tackle into one of the most adaptable interior linemen headed for the 2026 NFL draft.

Zuhn’s journey in College Station is a story of adaptability and football intelligence. He arrived as a long, athletic left tackle with the frame and footwork to protect the edge. But as injuries, depth issues, and scheme changes reshaped the Aggies’ offensive line, Zuhn became the staff’s most trusted problem-solver. Need a left tackle? Plug him in. Need a guard to stabilize the interior? He’s there. Need a center to command protections and keep the offense on schedule? Zuhn handles it with poise.

That positional flexibility isn’t just a resume bullet -- it shows up on tape. At 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, Zuhn carries his weight with balance and fluidity. His footwork is clean and efficient, allowing him to mirror edge rushers when aligned outside and maintain leverage against interior defenders when working at guard or center. His hand placement is consistent, his strike timing is advanced, and he rarely loses a rep due to technique. He’s not a raw athlete relying on traits; he’s a polished, assignment-sound lineman who wins with fundamentals.

At center -- the position many NFL teams now project him to long-term -- Zuhn’s intelligence shines brightest. He diagnoses fronts quickly, communicates protections with confidence, and rarely gets fooled by late movement. His ability to stay square, anchor against power, and redirect against stunts makes him a stabilizing force in the middle. He’s not the most explosive mover, but he’s efficient, controlled, and always in phase.

In the run game, Zuhn brings a blend of power and precision. He’s not a road-grader in the traditional sense, but he generates movement with leverage, hand strength, and excellent body control. His reach blocks are smooth, his combo work is disciplined, and he consistently climbs to the second level with proper angles. Whether in zone or gap concepts, he executes with the same steady reliability that defined his entire Aggie career.

Where Zuhn can continue to grow is in his lower-body explosiveness and recovery athleticism. Quicker interior defenders can stress him laterally, and he’ll need to continue refining his anchor against elite NFL power. But these are refinements, not red flags -- and his versatility, intelligence, and technique give him a high floor.

Zuhn projects as a starting-caliber NFL center with the added value of being able to play all five positions in a pinch. Coaches love players who solve problems, and Zuhn has been doing that for years. He may not be the flashiest lineman in the class, but he’s one of the most dependable -- a true Swiss Army Knife who elevates every unit he joins.
