The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to have a bounce-back game in Week 2 after a sloppy, four-turnover performance in a 33-27 road loss against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bucs are hoping for a different outcome this Sunday when they host the Cleveland Browns in their first game in front of the home crowd at Raymond James Stadium.

The Browns should give Tampa an excellent opportunity to record its first victory of the season. Cleveland looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL last Sunday, falling 34-10 at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That is exactly the type of game the Bucs hope to have in front of their fans in Week 2. Tampa did not inspire much confidence against the Bengals, with quarterback Baker Mayfield losing three fumbles and the defensive line barely getting any pressure on Cincy QB Joe Burrow.

Starting the season 0-2, especially after losing at home as heavy favorites to Cleveland, would create plenty of unhappy fans. Calls for coach Todd Bowles' job would grow deafening. Even in the weak NFC South, faith in Tampa to return to the postseason would be nearly nonexistent. 

Second-year wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is confident the Bucs will avoid a big upset. He is looking forward to putting the Bengals game in the rearview mirror.

Speaking with the media, Egbuka said this week is a new game and a chance to make the home fans happy. He said that's the mentality the team has as it heads into the game against the Browns, and the Bucs are hoping to put on a show.

"Yeah, every week is a new week. That's an unfortunate one to drop early on in the season, first week of the year. Obviously, that's when you want to win just to get off to a good start. I think we got the bad taste out of our mouths. We're ready to capitalize on Sunday [and] this new opportunity that we've been given. First game in the home stadium. Looking forward to seeing the Krewe and all the fans out there. Hopefully we'll put on a show."

Seeing Tampa put on a show and dominate the Browns the same way Jacksonville did might be the only thing that could help quiet the concerns and doubts the season-opening loss has raised.

Is it a must-win game? Technically, no. But a loss could have a devastating effect on the rest of the season.

Egbuka had a strong start to his sophomore campaign, grabbing five catches for 63 yards. He is trying to prove that his struggles from the second half of last season are behind him and that he can be the WR1 the Bucs drafted him to be in the first round last year.

If Tampa does put on a show this Sunday, odds are Egbuka will have a big part in it. The 23-year-old has the potential to be a star receiver in the NFL.

Right now, the Bucs are all potential and no results. That has to change this season, or a lot of changes may be on the horizon.

If the Bucs can get a big win in front of the home crowd, it may restore some of the positive vibes the team had finally started to build after a very turbulent beginning to training camp.
