Baker Mayfield faces a revenge match against Cleveland before primetime clashes in Dallas and Chicago highlight a grueling slate featuring heavyweights from the AFC and NFC North.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2026 schedule is finally here. Tampa’s 2026 slate came out Thursday night.

The Bucs will open the season on the road against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals Sept. 13.

They’ll continue playing the AFC North the next week, when the Cleveland Browns come to town for the season opener, giving Baker Mayfield a chance to play against his old team for the first time since joining the Buccaneers in 2023.

The next week, Tampa will take on its first NFC opponent when the Minnesota Vikings come to town.

Another NFC North opponent, the Green Bay Packers, come to Raymond James Stadium the following week.

In another battle with Mike McCarthy's former teams, the Buccaneers will go on the road to Jerry World for a Thursday night clash with the Dallas Cowboys.

The team McCarthy currently coaches will come to Tampa the next week, with the Bucs hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers and perhaps might be bringing NFL octogenarian Aaron Rodgers with them.

Tampa plays its first of six NFC South games the week after when it takes on the defending divisional champion Carolina Panthers on the road.

Sticking in the division, the Atlanta Falcons come to town the next week, giving Mayfield a chance to take on his former coach, Kevin Stefanski, who he still has hard feelings for.

Tampa will visit “The Windy City” the next week when it takes on Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football, and then, the Bucs are on a bye.

In Week 11, the Bucs will play before “Slim Shady” when they take on the Detroit Lions in “Motown.”

Tampa has its first Monday Night Game of the season the next week, when the Panthers will come to Florida looking either for revenge, a season sweep or both, depending on what goes down in the first game.

In Week 13, the Bucs will stay on the road, taking on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers, and this will be followed by a trip to Baltimore to take on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

The next week, Tampa will have its first of two meetings with the New Orleans Saints, this one being at Raymond James.

The Bucs will conclude their series with the Falcons the next week in Atlanta.

The next-to-last game of the regular season will be a battle of wits between Todd Bowles and Sean McVay when the Los Angeles Rams come to town.

The Bucs then wrap up their regular season in “The Big Easy” against the Saints.

In the preseason, the Bucs will take on the New York Jets (home, Aug. 14), Kansas City Chiefs (home, Aug. 22) and Jacksonville Jaguars (away, Aug. 28).
