What the Cardinals can do to try and stop a replenished San Fransico team.

After the Cardinals took a beating in Seattle, they now face a 49er's team that is getting healthier week by week. Two tough challenges for Arizona in back-to-back weeks.

San Francisco has announced the return of Brock Purdy so backup quarterback Mac Jones will not be playing, even though he did a great job keeping the team's future of making the playoffs alive.

Brock Purdy has struggled this season with toe and should discomfort. To be safe and give him natural healing time, Mac Jones has stepped in and has won five of eight games while completing 69.6-percent of his throws.

San Francisco has been consistent with saying all year when Purdy is healthy he would never be losing his job due to injury.

The Cardinals are entering this game with a 3-6 record making playoff hopes very unlikely. San Francisco on the other hand, have a record of 6-4 and fighting for a division title.

With the return of the 49er's starting quarterback the motivation is high to beat Arizona on Sunday.

Arizona still has Jacoby Brissett at the helm yet again.  Hopefully his number one target, tight end Trey McBride is playing. McBride is ruled as questionable to play on Sunday, being a game time decision.

These teams have always been considered division rivals, so we should expect a tough match on Sunday, especially with Arizona going into this game with a "nothing to lose" mindset.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is ruled out after having to have emergency surgery. With injuries on the defensive side of the ball the Cardinals have given up 27 points or more in the last four games.

I would imagine that San Francisco is well aware of this and will take full advantage, putting up a high score on Sunday.
