Arizona is banged up with number one receiver amongst numerous others out with injuries.

This game started off very exciting. San Francisco received the opening kickoff to start the game; they took it to the house for a touchdown. Not something we see every day in the NFL to start the game.

San Francisco was off to a quick start, having a 13-0 lead in the beginning of the first quarter.

Putting up a fight and closing the gap to 7-13, Arizona was still down by one possession and still only the first quarter.

This division rivalry is giving us exactly what we expected.

To start the second quarter San Francisco scored a passing touchdown from Brock Purdy to Cristian McCaffery, taking a 20-7 lead.

Arizona's defense has been keeping pressure on Purdy for most the game but draw runs and quick passes are helping Brock Purdy from taking sacks.

There was a very questionable call after Jacoby Brissett threw a 20-yard pass to Trey McBride. After the play McBride got up celebrating, hand gesturing a first down. The ref closest by then called him for a personal foul.

The NFL is cracking down on certain hand gestures in the league.

After the flag Brissett and McBride continued to keep connecting in the red zone that ended in the Cardinals attempting a field goal attempt. After missing a 58-yard field goal earlier in the game Chad Ryland makes his second attempt even after the ball was blocked, it made it through.

Chad Ryland's field goal shortened the gap 10-19, mid-way through the second quarter.

Jacoby Brissett with 45 seconds left in the first half and two timeouts, made an attempt to drive down the field and end the half with more points on the board. Slipped on a throw, causing an interception to give the ball back to the 49ers with 20 seconds remaining.

Purdy was able to drive down the field and set up a 62-field goal attempt for Pineiro. The Cardinals blocked the kick. Sadly, another penalty on the Cardinals set up a second attempt. San Fran capitalized and made the second attempt count.

Sending both sides into halftime with a 25-10 lead for the 49ers.

Arizona had the most penalties in a game since 1976 and broke that record in only the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter San Francisco had a 35-10 lead and never let up.

The Cardinals could not make up for all the penalties and turnovers to come back. Two massive beat downs in back-to-back weeks.

Final score ended up being San Francisco 41, Cardinals 22.

A few records were broken in the game. Jacoby Brissett completed the most passes in a game in NFL history. He completed a total 47 passes on 57 attempts, 452 passing yards and two touchdowns.

The Cardinals also set a franchise record with having 17 penalties Sunday.
