Uiagalelei Still in the QB2 Battle?
Aug 23, 2026 4:12 AM
The Los Angeles Chargers lost their latest preseason matchup. It wasn't all bad news.
The Chargers got a positive performance from third string quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei, who may not be third string for long.
Uiagalelei went for 80 passing yards on seven completions going for more yards than projected second stringer Trey Lance. Lance went for a higher completion percentage, but Uiagalelei kept it close enough to make it a battle.
Can the underdog win the quarterback battle or will Lance hold serve?
