Taking a look at one trade that the Los Angeles Chargers could consider, which could help with the struggles they have on the offensive side.

The Los Angeles Chargers have had a rough start to the season as they sit at 0-4 following a brutal 30-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and with that in mind, the Chargers have to find a way to respond in Week 5.

Over the course of the first four weeks of the season, the Chargers have had solid play on the defensive side of the ball, but on offense, there have been struggles, especially when it comes to quarterback Justin Herbert being able to move the ball through the air.

Based on the struggles the Chargers have had moving the ball in the passing game, it is possible that they may need to make a move to add some more firepower to this offense.

On that note, Bleacher Report NFL analyst Alex Kay proposed 1 trade that could turn the season around for 0-4 teams. For the Chargers, Kay proposed that they should trade away a 2027 third-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., which is an interesting trade to consider.

For Harrison, moving on from the Cardinals could be exactly what he needs as so far this season he has been unable to rally get going as he has totaled five receptions for 85 and one touchdown on 12 targets to start the 2026 season and is fourth in receiving for Arizona at this point.

Standing at 6-3 and 220 pounds, Harrison has a great frame that gives him the ability to go up and make contested catches as well as tough catches over the middle, but thus far in 2026 he has not been able to maximize that frame.

When it comes to the Chargers side, Harrison could be a much needed addition as wide receiver Ladd McConkey has been struggling with injuries and fellow wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Tre'Harris have just been unable to get going and at times have been non factors in the passing game.

If the Chargers were to add Harrison that could be a huge addition as Herbert would have a receiver with a larger frame that he could throw 50/50 balls to and currently he does not have that on the perimeter.

Additionally, Harrison may have the ability to be a key part of the offense, and with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel calling the plays, Harrison may be able to maximize his skill set through being able to take advantage of the matchups that McDaniel creates through creative playcalling and pre-snap motions.

So, moving forward, it will be interesting to see if there are any rumors surrounding a possible move for the Chargers to acquire Harrison, because if it does happen or there is traction for it to happen, it could benefit both parties and possibly help Herbert and this Los Angeles offense get going in the passing game.
