Golden J and Chico discuss the Kansas City Chiefs' recent roster moves, as well as look into what their plan could be in the NFL Draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs now have some choices to make in this year's NFL Draft.

On Wednesday morning, the Chiefs traded away All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a first-round pick, a fifth-round pick, sixth round pick and a 2027 third-round pick in this year's draft, bringing their total selections in 2026 up to eight, including two first-rounders.

Now, Kansas City has the ammo to make a splash in the draft and set itself up for another decade of success. The only downside, however, is that the No. 9 pick in the draft might not be the player who they've been linked to for the past two months.

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love had a great week at the NFL Combine, leading many experts to believe he won't fall to the Chiefs' first-round pick, which could alter the game plan for both the draft and the offseason.

The newly acquired No. 29 pick is also now in the equation for the offseason. The Chiefs could reasonably select an impact player with that pick, and now have to weigh what position they want to upgrade with a rookie, versus on the free agent or trade market.

Golden J mentions that there are so many rumors swirling around Chiefs Kingdom, and wonders whether the team will improve its defensive or offensive line.

Unfortunately for Chico, his favorite player, offensive tackle Juwaan Taylor has been released. Golden J notes that Chico will miss all of the penalties he racks up throughout the season. Looking at the move more realistically, the duo admits that he is, in fact, a great player, but both have been increasingly frustrated with all the penalties he committed and the hefty price tag that comes with having him on the roster.

Regardless, the pair thanked Taylor for his time with the franchise and the Super Bowl rings that he helped the Chiefs achieve.

Looking across at other teams across the league, the New York Jets and Chiefs were long rumored to swing a trade for star running back Breece Hall -- but those dreams are over. The Jets placed a franchise tag on Hall, essentially ending any trade discussions.
