The Kansas City Chiefs' training camp is fully underway, with the team finally practicing in full pads earlier this week.

Just days ago, reports came out that Eric has been keeping tabs on Kansas City's training camp, trying to stay involved while he is physically by his wife's side.
Moving back to some news coming out of camp, Golden J briefly touches on the "incident" between newly acquired running back Kenneth Walker and linebacker Drue Tranquill, where the former was seen throwing the football at the latter.
The "scuffle" was quickly brushed off, as they tend to do. In Golden J's words, "It's fine, it's football."
Golden J then mentions the high hopes for wide receivers Tyquan Thornton and Cyrus Allen, though the former made headlines for leaving camp early due to an injury. Thankfully, the injury turned out to be a shin bruise, but it was a scary sight watching him go down after an impressive first few days of practice.
Defensive tackle Peter Woods, the No. 29 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, has been impressing coaches in Kansas City as well.
Thankfully, there haven't been any wild storylines on individual players to cover coming out of training camp.
Most eyes have been on quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is coming off a torn ACL and LCL that he sustained in December of 2025. The Chiefs' QB has been participating in camp and is on track to make a start in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.
Tight end Travis Kelce is another name to keep an eye on, as the 36-year-old enters what could very likely be the final year of his football career.
The future Hall of Famer had just five touchdowns last season, in what many have dubbed one of his worst years on the field.
Kelce will look to go out on top, as he and the rest of the Chiefs try to change the narrative on Kansas City, which failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
